wOuch!

Another cold inspired story: a Russian man had to be rescued after his penis stuck to a frozen bus shelter while he was urinating.

Classic… well at least he could cry for help, unlike when your tongue gets stuck somewhere.

wHao!

A Chinese man has broken his own record by standing naked in sub-zero Siberian winter conditions for 4 hours in temps that reached -29°C.

Awesome!! Did he actually stay standing still and upright? Impressive. I hope it wasn’t windy. Were there bets on how many digits he’d loose in the adventure? Or maybe he had none left to loose, since he apparently held the previous record of 3h46, set in 2000…

But I love this weather!

CURRENT CONDITIONS
Nov 29 2002 1:00PM – Dorval Airport
Heavy snow

I prefer the french version:

Conditions actuelles Aéroport de Dorval
Nuageux. Neige et poudrerie élevé

Poudrerie is the seal of quality of a good tempête.
And I’m listening to Printemps été from the album « Menteur » by Jean Leloup

Now the fun part is that I actually love this weather. I’ll happily walk 40 minutes in it tonight. Plus the dog walk (the dog loves snow too). And I might just x-c ski this week-end.

MEC winter stuff

On my last order, I forgot to add something. Ok, what I really want is this puppy, but for the 3x price difference, I’ll settle pour la marque maison.

Can’t wait for the trails to open!

Yeah, so basically, if anyone is ordering anything, let me know so I can piggy back: the free shipping deal is over. (I wonder if I’ll ever find a girl who’d want to have her wedding list at MEC… hey, I know someone who did)

Did anyone notice the pile of old concrete slabs by the store’s construction site? I wonder what they’ll end up doing with those. Anyways, the artist rendering on the website was clearly made by someone who never saw the actual site… It includes trees and grass… Two things that don’t exist between l’Acadie and the train tracks Yet it ignores the surrounding monstrous stores.

Storm
