University of Ottawa’s Law and Technology Program is hosting another conference. « The Internet and the Law – A Global Conversation » will be held on October 1st and 2nd. So who’s coming?!? It will be fun!
Before the main conference, there will be a Techlaw Student Summit, (http://web5.uottawa.ca/itls/documents/TechlawStudentSummit.pdf). It’s a fantastic opportunity for technology law students from across Canada to meet and talk about what we all do for technology law at our schools.
The Student Summit will end with the Creative Commons Canada launch party, « at which time the newly-ported Canadian version of the popular Creative Commons licence will be introduced to the public. The guest of honour at the celebration is Professor Lawrence Lessig of Stanford Law School, founder of
Creative Commons. »
Cheers,
