CA – ELECTRONICALLY PUBLISHED LAWS: Bill 179 2002, which was recently given first reading in the Ontario legislature, proposes amendments to the Ontario Evidence Act that would make the online version of provincial statutes generally admissible for evidentiary purposes. Currently, only the official printed version of Ontario statutes is valid for evidentiary purposes.
